Pre-selection is the rst step of our production line. Aiming at building a long lasting Decking system, our team will choose the raw material, based on the final geographical location of where Dekloc will be installed.
The Dekloc range offers a variety of high quality certied origin tropical hardwoods; Yellow Balau, Merbau and
Teak, all suitable for a wide range of high quality applications.

The Dekloc range all use interlocking methodology, either side to side or end on end or both depending on the given system.
Offset interlocking backing strips and dowels between panels (side to side panel interlock available across the range) mean that panels do not rely on mechanical fixings alone for their long-term performance.

Bevel end interlocking details (Dekloc R) is supported within the limit of natural movement of the boards, the
simple compression joint allows for site modication (docking) if excessive tolerances on site require modication. This also allows access panels and other impromptu openings to be added at later stages of the installation, thus the system maintains a high level of flexibility from the commencement of design to final installation.

Dekloc backing strips are installed over joists adding to the support and structural capacity of the system and accommodates normal tolerances associated with curvature in joists giving the impression of a substantial joist visible through the board gaps. Dekloc, depending on the system adopted, can use multiple panel sizes, typically from 2 to 4m, with our Dekloc R system panelisation is disguised so that the deck looks homogeneous and not obviously paneled.

Dekloc Design accommodates easy detailing of removable panels and planter gratings.
