Modern Epoxies are a crucial component in our connection and fixing systems.

In the good old days timber connections relied on accurately crafted wooden dowels or well conceived and crafted joints.

In testament to this almost forgotten era, centuries latter many of these structures still stand, as strong as the day they were built.

Over the generations much of this knowledge has been lost or forgotten ,in recent times we made up for this deficiency but bolting a few lumps of metal either side of the join.

Venturers philosophy is to embrace the knowledge of the past, and combine it with technology from today, hence instead of machining minutely accurate dowelled joins we can now simply and quickly bore and dowel with the use of epoxy, this delivers a clean looking join as strong as the surrounding member.

Due to the many different requirements of a fixing/joining system for example: Dissimilar materials, high visibility, speed of installation, we require a custom made product.

For many years we compromised with off the shelf products, these were always a compromise as many of them are formulated for concrete related applications like rebar starter which only involves squirting goo into holes!

Out of desperation to find the right product, we were fortunate to convince a leading manufacturer formerly based in the USA to formulate products to meet our needs.
